1. Scope and who we are

HandwritingClasses.in runs this website and provides handwriting programs. This policy explains how we handle personal information.

It applies to website visitors, adult learners, parents, guardians, children, schools, teachers and coordinators. It covers enquiries, online and offline programs, school programs, payments, materials and support.

In this policy, “we”, “our” and “us” mean HandwritingClasses.in and the authorized team handling the enquiry or program.

2. Information we may collect

Contact and enquiry details

  • Name, mobile number, email address, city and state.
  • Preferred contact method and the enquiry message.
  • Learner age, class level, goals and writing concerns.
  • Preferred online or offline mode, language and schedule.
  • For schools: school name, contact person, designation, official email, classes, student strength, preferred program and expected start period.

Assessment and program details

  • Handwriting samples, notebook pages or answer-sheet pages.
  • Trainer notes, practice records, attendance and progress feedback.
  • Session links, joining records and limited technical support details.
  • Offline venue, schedule, access and safety details that you choose to provide.
  • Recordings, photos, testimonials or before-and-after samples only when separately approved for a stated purpose.

Payment, delivery and website details

  • Quotations, invoices, payment status, transaction references and refund records.
  • Billing and delivery details when books or toolkit items are supplied.
  • Browser, device, date, time, requested page, referral and security log details.
  • Campaign details such as UTM source, medium, campaign, content and term.

Do not send passwords, full bank credentials, government ID numbers or medical records. Please share only what is needed for the enquiry or program.

3. How we receive information

We may receive information through forms, calls, WhatsApp, email and handwriting-sample submissions. We may also receive it during online sessions, offline sessions, school meetings, demos, enrolment, payments, material delivery and support.

A parent or guardian should normally provide information for a child. An authorized school may provide it under the school’s own consent and legal arrangements.

A school representative should share only information that the school is allowed to provide.

4. How we use information

  • Answer enquiries and explain suitable programs.
  • Review handwriting samples and learner needs.
  • Arrange assessments, demos, enrolment and sessions.
  • Send links, schedules, venue details and practice guidance.
  • Record attendance and provide trainer feedback.
  • Prepare invoices, receipts, payment records and material orders.
  • Coordinate with learners, parents, schools, trainers and service providers.
  • Handle complaints, prevent abuse and protect the website.
  • Meet tax, accounting, legal and record-keeping duties.

5. Processing, notice and consent

We use information to answer a request, take steps before enrolment or deliver an accepted program. We may also use it to meet legal duties, protect our services or support another lawful purpose.

We ask for consent when consent is required. The person giving consent may withdraw it for future use by contacting us.

Withdrawal does not undo lawful use that already took place. It may also affect an optional service that needs the information.

We aim to collect only the information needed for the stated purpose.

6. Children, parents, guardians and school data

Many of our programs are for children. A parent, legal guardian or authorized school should provide the required consent before a child’s personal information or identifiable sample is shared.

Parents and schools should remove details that are not needed. A child should not make a payment or enter a paid agreement alone.

We do not use a child’s personal information for targeted advertising. We also do not use handwriting samples to make medical or psychological claims.

For school programs, the school remains responsible for notices, permissions, supervision and safeguarding.

7. Handwriting samples, assessments and progress records

A handwriting sample may show a learner’s name or schoolwork. Remove or cover details that are not needed for assessment.

We use samples to understand writing patterns, plan correction, give feedback and review progress.

Trainer notes are educational records. They are not medical, psychological or diagnostic records.

We do not use an identifiable sample, photo, video or testimonial for public marketing without separate permission.

8. Information used for online and offline delivery

For online programs, we use contact details to send joining links and support messages. We may process attendance, platform IDs and limited technical details needed to run the session.

We record a session only for an agreed purpose and after the required notice and consent.

For offline programs, we may use venue, schedule, attendance, access and emergency-contact details. We use only what is reasonably needed to coordinate the confirmed session.

We do not track a learner’s location continuously because the learner attends an offline class.

9. When information may be shared

We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

We may share limited information with:

  • Authorized trainers, coordinators and support staff.
  • Hosting, email, messaging, video, payment, accounting, storage, security or courier providers.
  • A parent, guardian, adult learner or authorized school connected to the program.
  • Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, regulators, courts or lawful authorities.
  • A genuine successor organization during a lawful restructuring.

Each provider should receive only what is needed for its authorized task.

10. Payments, invoices and material delivery

A payment provider may process card, UPI or bank credentials under its own terms. We usually receive the payment status, reference number and limited billing details.

We do not need your full payment credentials.

When books or toolkit items are delivered, we may share the recipient’s name, phone number and address with an approved courier or fulfilment provider.

11. Cookies and essential website functions

The website uses essential technology for security, forms, session handling and site functions. The enquiry form may temporarily keep first-party campaign, landing-page and referral details in browser session or local storage for up to 30 minutes so the original enquiry source is not lost while a visitor moves between pages.

The current public website does not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, Microsoft advertising tags or other third-party visitor-tracking scripts.

Basic technical server logs may record information such as request time, requested page, browser type and IP address for security, reliability and abuse prevention.

You can restrict or delete cookies in your browser. Some site functions may not work correctly when essential technology is blocked.

12. How long information is retained

We keep information only while it is reasonably needed for the enquiry or program. We may also keep it for payment, delivery, support, complaint handling, fraud prevention, legal duties or disputes.

Old enquiries, samples, notes and optional recordings should be deleted, anonymized or securely archived when they are no longer needed.

Some tax, accounting, transaction and contract records must be kept for the period required by law.

13. Information security and incidents

We use reasonable safeguards to reduce unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure. These may include access controls, protected storage, validation, backups and security monitoring.

No internet or storage system is completely secure. Please take care when sending information through email, messaging apps or public networks.

If an incident creates a legal notification duty, we will take reasonable steps to contain it and provide the required notice.

14. Your choices and applicable rights

Subject to applicable law and reasonable verification, you may ask us to:

  • Explain what personal information we process and why.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete information that is no longer needed, when deletion is allowed.
  • Withdraw consent for future use that depends on consent.
  • Stop non-essential promotional messages.
  • Review a privacy complaint and explain the next step.
  • Recognize a valid nominee or authorized representative where the law allows it.

We may limit a request when identity cannot be verified, another person’s rights are affected or the information must be kept by law.

15. Calls, email, WhatsApp and marketing communications

When you submit an enquiry or enrol, you allow us to contact you about that request or service.

Messages may cover assessment, program options, fees, payment, schedule, links, venue, materials, guidance and progress support.

You may ask us to stop non-essential promotional messages. Important service, payment, safety and scheduling messages may continue.

16. Processing and service locations

We mainly handle information for services offered in India.

Some hosting, video, messaging, analytics, payment or cloud providers may process information in other locations. We take reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements that fit the purpose and applicable law.

17. External websites and third-party services

Our website or service process may link to WhatsApp, video platforms, social networks, maps, payment services or couriers.

Those providers control their own privacy practices. Review their policies before submitting information through an external service.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, technology, operations or legal duties change.

The revised effective date will appear at the top. We may also provide an extra notice for an important change.

19. Contact and privacy grievance
